Topic: misses first beat TCV and the denon s1000 decks.

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

It is amazing that I can control VDj with two professional CD decks.

however on On 3.0 (and previous versions) I still get the problem with TCV and the denon s1000 decks. it works but always cuts off the first beat when pressing play

I tried everything in the cfg of VDJ and the denon
even turned off auto cue on the denon

can this be fixed? maybe NEW and improved time code?

what happened if I edited the TCV mp3 and added 3 seconds of blank space to the beginning, would that help?

You can try adding 3 seconds of blank.

But i don't think it would actually work as VDJ doesn't recognize the time the timecode has been playing for but the 4khz signals that are coded in the sound of the TCCD. That's why you can do a needledrop with the vinyls. VDJ recognizes the position in the time coded signal.

how about some other sound or noise at the beginning of the track? what sound would VDJ ignore? I could pad the first 3 seconds of the time code with some other sample??

I wish they would fix this
