i read on the faq for timecoded vinyls that i should ground the turntables to the computer instead of the mixer.

last weekend i played using an extra deck just for virtualdj and grounded it to my desktop. it worked very well.... but i don't plan on carrying a full tower plus a 17" inch tft display around.... so how should i ground the deck if i use a laptop?

i asked the same 1 month ago i think... they told me to unscrew one of screws at back of my laptop (near power plug in) and connect ground cables to it.
Today i get maya44USB and i think i'll get TCVs tomorrow.
I will do like this. hope i will work.

btw i will try to connect ground with screw to metal part of graphic card connector. it's the only which has hole for screw.

xeon, does your laptop adapter have an earth connection?

yes, it has, but it is only to adapter and not to laptop. Any i always plug it into power supply without earth because of noise.
