Can somebody told me if geforce fx5200 128 mb work in vdj to play video with????

must be lucky then I coudn't get it to work at all on mine.
 
i've got a gigabyte GeForce FX 5200 & it works no probs for me
 
are either of you able to use hardware mode?

i'm using nvidia driver version 6.14.10.6693
havn't tried the latest drivers yet
 
I wouldn't if its working now. I tried for almost a month. So it will playback mpg1, mpeg2, vob, divix and avi just fine. With no chopyness or low frame rates? All in hardware mode right?
 
havn't tried mpeg2 cos i havn't got any of these files but all the rest run perfectly in both hardware & non-hardware modes
 
the problem i had was with mpeg2.
 
it gives me a lot of problems. firstly its having a conflict with my soundcard, then it has choppy video display, and u cant run two videos and scratch at the same time..thats gonna bake ur gpu.
 
I also have probs with that card. The Visuals reduce my CPU and the hardware acceleration doesn't work. Is that card to slow for the effekts. The second problem is that the prog crashes after some hours, it looks like the RAM is full.

Can somebody help?
 

Did you already install the lastest drivers from FX5200?

The hardware accelaration works in this Video Card. What are your computer specs?
