Topic: Question about the stock skins in 6.0.7

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Hello,

I have a few questions about the skins that came pre-installed in Virtual DJ 6.0.X

I have the following skins in my system:

VirtualDJ6 Pro: 1024x600
VirtualDJ6 Pro: 1024x768
VirtualDJ6 Pro: 1280x1024
VirtualDJ6 Pro: 1280x768
VirtualDJ6:Pro
VirtualDJ6:Pro (Hi-Res)
VirtualDJ6:Pro (Widescreen)

I do not see a difference between: VirtualDJ6 Pro: 1024x768 and VirtualDJ6:Pro - Is there a difference between those two skins?

I have my screen resolution set at 1024 x 768, should I use one or the other?

Is it best to leave the skins zipped up or can I just have the individual files in the skin folder?

Is there a daytime version of the VirtualDJ6:Pro or VirtualDJ6 Pro: 1024x768 skin available. I tried using the Skin Resizer tool to convert the skin, but could not get the tool to allow me to check the box to convert to daytime skin.

Thank you,

To get the resizer to work you have to buy the key thats what I had to do. as far as whats the difference between skins I dont use any of those 1's. Hope this helps.

This is what I was told to do:
"You can turn any dark skin into a daytime skin with the Skin Resizer tool:
http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/7187/Skin_Resizer_Tool.html

Follow these steps to get a daytime skin:

1. Unzip the Skin package
2. In the Skin Resizer, open the XML of the Skin
3. In output width and height, select the same as in input width and height
4. In the "Resizing" view, select "Simple Resize"
5. In the "Options" view, activate: "make day skin"
6. In the "Generating" view, click on "do the job".

7. Open VirtualDJ and select the new Skin !!!"
