Hi guys!
I'm looking for the lame.dll for recording in MP3 but i can't find it! I' ve visited http://lame.sourceforge.net/ , but where is the link?

n/p Glad to help. I just have to watch out for DJ Coco's itchy send finger, he beat me to the punch this time. But I will be ready for him next time. I have been going to the "Send finger gym" and working out a bit. LOL!

HI I got the lame.dll and I placed it in a dircetory under virtual DJ called dll and pointed the software to it. I recorded an mp3 file but it will not play/load in virtual DJ, however, it plays fine in WINAMP( used to test)
When I find the file on my HD it looks quite ordinary just over 4M shows as an MP3 file and as I said WINAMP plays it just fine

Any ideas why it work in Virtual DJ

When you put or create a new .mp3 in your computer, scan your hard drive with VDJ, if not, it will not be able to read it.

Well I am still having trouble VDJ sees the file that is created when I record something I have it saved as sample.mp3 in a specific directory and I have VDJ look for it it finds it It looks like any other MP3 file but when I drag it into the cue it is recieved as a file but nothing loads into memory and when I press play it is simply silence for 3:21 but when I take the same file and use winamp it plays just fine I just doesn't wnat to play in VDJ... Is there something special I should be doing maybe a special format or an updated lame.dll... any ideas???

I have rebooted my system with no changes and this is not something I want to do each time I record something

Please let me know

Peroz have you found your plugin yet .I have one if you need it.And it works .Or just take one from another players software folder.You have software on your computer that encodes in lame dont you. Check its program folder for Lame.enc.dll
