Topic: 2.06 to 2.1 always the same bug in timestretch

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

The bug described by alot of vdj 2.06 users is present in vdj 2.1 .
Bug is always the same : load a song with a silent very beginning and scratch it with timestretch and beatlock activated, it crashes always! (if don't believe i send you the files)
no way to let these 2 function play simultaneously.
So possibly every file with this characteristic is crashing the program, and it's not fair !

I'm one, as many here, who trust in the application of this program into clubs but can't really understand why developers aim to transform this dream into a ridicolous reality by adding functions such as videomixing and radiobroadcast (also buggy from what i read).
In my opinion you should add these funny functions to a "home edition" : for users, as happens here, who only complaing the software don't work with their hardware even though they are in trouble switching on the computer, or for those (very skillful, i have to say) who crack the program and play the latest 50 cent song (while he's still downloading with emule) linked to the latest pornoclip of Rocco Siffredi and burning cd's to sell 10$ each .... really impressive !

Real performers need a "pro" version with few tested functions : a 100% bug free and working software.
You add timestretch and beatlock ... fine but PLEASE let them work properly ... or the videomixing sounds much like a joke as you can't fix a bug.

Good work
Andrew

i suggest you do a little more reading and a little less complaining. You would of found this issue to be resolved in the next version to be released. Just because you don't use a new feature doen't mean others are not.
