Does anyone know if it works with mac version 6.0.5 ?

Yes it will work and it is a great card. I use one and am not disappointed with it;)
 
Great card for the mac, and it has drivers that do all the aggregate work for you and in vdj there is a drop down to select the trim and belive it or not it works :) (make sure you get the latest herc drivers from their website) ts.Hercules.com
