If you try it with the same track in both decks, does it still do this? If not, it may be a gain problem. If so, maybe there is something wrong with the crossfader.

Have you scanned all your tracks prior to playing them for bpm??

That was my next question...If your tracks aren't scanned for BPM, then they aren't scanned for gain, either. What happens is that before the track is completely loaded and it is playing, the gain will change at the moment that the track load is complete because scanning takes place while the track loads. Try it with two tracks that have been scanned, and I think you'll find that your problem may have gone. Also, set config->options for gain to "auto+remember." This way, if you do manually change a gain setting, the level will be the same from then on. Also, scan all of your tracks by selecting them all in the browser (CTRL+A), right-click one of them, then click "scan for BPM. If your tracks are in directories, you may have to recurse the top directory by right-clicking it and selecting "recurse." You could also create a filter-folder whose command is: isscanned = 0. This will make all of your unscanned tracks appear in that folder.

Good luck ;)
