I recently bought an Ecler NUO4 ( which is a super dope mixer!) anyways the crossfader is pretty stiff, I'd like to loosen it up. I've heard of a spray you can use but is there anything eles that can be done?
Thanks for any input!

a mix of 50% hydrogen peroxide and 50% water, with some thick tissue does the trick for me. and a drop of barbers.
take out your cross fader and pop off the plastic cap. clean inside the slider thousing with the tissue and alcohol mix or if it fits use a cotton bud. use a very thin flat scrwedriver to dislodge any crap that may have built up inside. when its all nice and clean, dry it with more tissue and add 1-2 drops of barbers oil or veg oil seeing as that stuff dont make anything rust make sure it is only 1-2 drops too dont drown your fader. i find 2 is sometimes a little excessive but it depends on the fader and the track it sits on. move your fader from side to side to work in the oil and hey presto.
i dont know about anyone else but using sprays in my opinion doesnt doo much. it may free up the fader for a while but the spray just adds more gunk to the mix. the spray doesnt actually get rid of the crap. it just dislodges it and you end up pushing it to one side with the fader. eventualy leading to worse situations.
a good clean and a little oil is the best option for me.

I wouldnt mess with oil & water thing lol. Silicon would probably be my preferred option.
Dude if the fader isn't to your liking switch it up with the eternal fader. That has a smooth loose feel and designed more for scratching/cutting.

A lap dance usually loosens my stiff crossfader. Tissue, cotton buds, vegetable oil? C'mon, this is 2010. All three of those will leave behind traces of themselves. Get this, and come out of the dark ages.

Funny Man and His Music, here's another recommendation one that I use and it works well. http://www.radioshack.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=64-057&origkw=64-057&sr=1
Unless your eating hero sanwiches or having beach parties in the sand over the Fader this should work...
Good Luck
