guys please help i have vdj6 a dell inspiron 1501 a american audio versaport sound card 2xvestax cdx05 and a behringer djx700 andeverytime i try set up an external mixer a pop up apears saying erron with sound driver any ideas im crap with computers

What version of windows is on the Dell?
What you go to select an audio output what does it say?
did you instal the Versa port drivers?

It seems you have a problem with your soundcard.
Versaport has only 2in/2out ports.
If you choose external mixer it requires at list 4in/4outs, making the channels not enough for timecode process.
It will eliminate your problem by setting to single timecode/single output/asio driver/versaport asio but you can only control a single deck with a single out of course.
