think i can remember reading somewhere just install it and it should be ok, might be best to put a search in first before commiting yourself though

If you installed or updated to DX11 use system restore to roll back your computer to a date before the install.

Funny...
Windows 7 comes and needs Direct X 11. You cannot rollback to to a previous version that was created when your current operating system didn't even exist.
If you are trying to install an old program that obviously cannot recognize the new files, and ask you to "update> to Direct X 9.0c, just let the installation run normally and you should be fine.

I should have asked what operating system he was refering to, not everyone is using Win7! Not being smart of course, some of us just use the forum to help or get help. P.S. Win7 does have compatibilty mode.
