Yeah I already asked and it got locked hopefully won't happen again, I like the Pioneer fonts used for the time etc very professional.

Who else have the knowledge of making skins ?

I´ve seen some names but not any respons of this thread yet..

I want to help, but my proposal is this.
If you make the image how you want, I want to finish it.
The image don't have to be perfect, but the right buttons on the right place etc.

you can use paintshop or something installed on your pc.
it\'s just for letting me know what you want.
I will start over again.

I think the key with this skin is going to be making it look similar to the rekordbox look whilst maintaining the fact that it is for Virtualdj and not mixvibes.

I personally don't see a problem with making a skin that has similar looks to the rekordbox software, bareing in mind that was designed to look like the new CDJ's themselves.
 
All Pioneer skins upto now have been about having the hardware shown on screen, look at that recent Pioneer skin! takes up the full screen

A nice pioneer skin to match our pioneer gear is whats required i think not wanting to look like mixed vibes.
 
Im working on a Pioneer skin, based on the cdj2000. I'm hoping to have it finished before the new year, i have some pictures but there on my website and i'm not sure if linking is allowed so i wont do it, if someone can tell me how to add pictures to this post i can show you what it looks like :o)
 
if you put the code to say imageshack on here, someone i'm sure will display it for you.

You got the point !

I want the Pioneer Cdj AND Rekordbox looks of the skin because I have those players and that program and will work with it outside the Viritual (dj) World aswell..

Touchdan, it's a really good skin but it features the hardware and I think this is a waist of screen space and a bit gimmicky.

Mixed vibes achieved a pioneer look and feel without the hardware present.

I hear what your saying, and agree, im just creating this for the masses. Once its finished i will try to create the look your after :o)
 
Thanks, it wasn't a bad reflection on your skin it's brilliant. I remember having the DNS5000 skin when i had those players but i didn't have it for long because it was all show, you know what i mean.
