Whenever I plug in my Hercules Control Steel into my computer, which I have VDJ installed and the proper drivers I get the message when I double click on VDJ : The controller has not been connected. Please plug in the controller and start VirtualDJ again.
I am not Sure if this is a hardware or software problem, though I am sure its software. I have done everything I can think of. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You installed the latest update for VDJ (5.2.2) as a well as the latest driver for the console (3.HDJS.2009) ?
You've verified that the console is installed and detected correctly by the computer, as explained in the following document:

OK I have tried all that, and I still recieve the same error. What can I do now?
