some songs i downloaded don't play with virtual DJ they appear with a plane paper as an icon next to it and when i grap it to play it doesn't...is there a special format for the songs???

VDJ supports various formats. What format are you trying to play?
Have you looked at the "File Info" for the track(s) in question? What information is displayed?
