Video Output issue...
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if there is another option to show the video output without dragging the screen onto a mirrored monitor?
I find that approach very awkward resulting in a distorted image as you try to expand the pixels to fit the whole screen. I am new to digital djing and would like to do more on the video side to show how we dance the Coupe Decalle and Ndombolo in the African Diaporas etc....but with the quality of those videos, God knows how long i will stick to it.
Anyway, in the meantime, i need some help:
So my question is about video output: which output setup is the best for video, can u directly set the output without dragging the main video screen? What are you using to display your videos when djing (projector or flatscreen TV)? . I am using a V6 Pro and a Hercules controller.
I'd appreciate if any of you can share their experience with me.

...out of curiosity, how are you using the "Pro VDJ6" version if you are limited edition user?

He never said he usin 6 PRO he is a limited user and the option you are lookin for is available in the Pro Version. So if you upgrade to Pro you will be able to do this. There is also a discount for havin the console.

Whoops I missed that! Go to Config in VDJ then to Video, then click on the dropdown box where it says window and set it to the Vid card that shows up there.

Hi DiscoBrian,
thanks for your tip with the drop down window to choose the video card showing. Unfortunately, it only says window when i open it. Am i missing a step prior to this in order for another vid card to show?
Appreciate the help.

you have to make sure that your secondary monitor is active

You need to have the secondary display attached BEFORE you boot the computer so it can recognize it, then you should see the card in the drop-down box.
