Topic: External soundcard for Dj console Steel?

Hi all!

I'm thinking of buying the hercules dj console steel, but i dont know which external soundcard i should buy?
Which ones are good for the console, which does not work and so on. I live in sweden, and couldnt find any information.
So please help :)

The best 2 channer USB sound card in the market for me is the new NI Audio 2 but if you want to use more IN & OUT (for Timecode also) buy the Hercules TRIM 4&6 ;)

Thanks for the quick answer guys. Do you think the "Numark DJ IO" soundcard is gonna work?

Yes, it's a good sound card but the headphone power is more high in NI audio 2 ;)

Ok thanks :) so when my DJ console steel and my NI 2 AUDIO arrives, i just plug it in to my laptop, or do i have to buy anything else? sorry for all my questions but i need to know, want to start djing as soon as possible :D

Oh sorry, i have one more question :D with this soundcard, Native Instruments Audio 2 Dj can I play one song for the crowd, and play another one in my phones? Like pre-listen? :)

Yes you will.

I just noticed that your profile shows an RMX. Do you still own it?

If so, you wouldn't need another soundcard ( unless you need more outputs...)

It is associated to the serial number you entered in your profile.
