Hey guys,

I've been trying out a few PC DJ'in apps and im pretty much settled on VDJ....bar one problem: whenever i change the pitch, the beats get distorted and the music randomly slows and speeds up. Not badly but its noticable (even more so when mixing). Now i've had a search through the forums and cant find much. I looked through the skipping thread and have done the things suggested which i hadnt already tried but nothing seems to fix it. Here's my spec if it helps (all drivers updated):

OS: Win XP Pro
CPU: AMD Sempron Mobile 3000+ (1800ghz)
Ram: 512mb
Internal Sound Card: Realtek ALC655 (speaker output)
External Sound Card: Hercules Muse Pocket (headphone monitor)

I'd like to think its not a software problem as this app does eveything else perfectly but i've had no problems with other apps and this is being run on a brand new laptop with a fresh OS install (by me).

I'd appriciate any advice as i'd really like to get the full ver.

Timestretch was killing it.

Thanks again...this software is now perfect :D

With these complaints of distortion using timestretch, are you all adjusting the tempo significantly?

I beginning to wonder if my ears are bad, because if I keep the stretch to a modest level, I can't hear any of these warbles or claps that are being reported.

modest level works fine

just like hardware do, like Pioneer players

its extreme that dont sound to good, VDJ or Pioneer, or any other...
