Topic: Maya 44 USB + Hercules Steel Setup (No external mixer)

Hello I have noticed how a lot of people talk about setting up timecodes with an external mixer. In my case, I would like to mix with turntables but by using a Maya 44 USB and a Hercules Steel which is solely a Midi Controller; so I wouldn\'t be using an external mixer. How would I go about setting this up if I decided to go pro? Thanks very much for your help :)

Would I need to buy pre amps or would it work without them? Thanks
