Topic: Creating Back Beat function in Denon HC 4500

I'm attempting to re-create the JPBoggis Back Beat function within the new mapper but I'm having trouble since there seems to be no verb connected to this functionality. In JP Boggis's Mapper it was Back Beat <<1 or <<4. Can anyone help?

what do you actually mean by "back beat" and maybe I could help?

I think it means basically moving one beat or 4 beats back in the song (or moving the loop) by pushing the forward or reverse buttons.

If you want a shortcut to go back 4 beats, use......

goto -4

forward 4 beats =
goto +4

you can define however many beats you like

Hope this helps

I believe you solved my problem. I will test tonight. I'm just looking to repeat 1 beat by going back -1 or -4. Kind of like a stutter effect

Your welcome

I have the same actions mapped to 1 key

press it on its own and it goes back 1 beat
press it while pressing a shift key and it goes back 4 beats
