I would like to know if I can get my comments to re-appear in virtual dj considering these circumstances:
1) I have wiped my computer and all files, and since reloaded Windows and Virtual DJ.
2) I backed up all my music on dvd; along with the virtual dj folder and all contents.
When I re-load my music it will have a different location, will the database file work in this case?.
Thanks alot as always for any help, Bagpuss.

Hi,
If you lose your "VirtualDJ Database.xml" (with comments, cues, bpm) just replace it by a backup an you will find all this infos.
To find your songs, delete the old "mp3database.txt" an re-scan your HD
A fresh backup of the "VirtualDJ Database.xml" is the best for this.

Bag...
It will still have the info etc when moving the mp3 files
Because the database have size of mp3 stored as well, so it will recongnize them, even if they are moved to new place / drive...
