Hi All,
I bought a new laptop to do gigs with. problem is i've installed the RMX consoe le drivers and installed the standard virtual DJ thats provided and its sending the CPU crazy.
The spec of the laptop is very high and well above needed. Its intel duo core, 3gb ram and overall a very fast laptop so shoudlnt have problem with virtualdj.
Basically when a tune is playing every 10-15 seconds the cpu hits a high usage and jolts the song.
Has any1 else had this problem if so what can i do to solve it.

First of all whats you OS XP or Vista.
What I would do first is go into Device Manager and disable your WiFi/Bluetooth adapter. This is a known device that can sound problems. Run VirtualDJ again and see if you still have the problem. If you do then I would download and run the DPC Latency Checker
This will show if you have any misbehaving devices or drivers. While VirtualDJ is running it's run the checker you are really looking for green and may be yellow bars. If you have red spikes then you may have a problem.
Try to do a screen shot and post it here.
