i have a korg nano pad that has a x y touch pad that i would like to use for controling the effect sliders
its all midi and i have no prob with the drum pads but i cant figure out how to map the x y pad to work with vdj

i hate to tripple post but i know a lot of users use this or the kaos pads or other pads

Open config and then remote control.
Right click on General Midi
Click activate
Then Click Config
Here you will assign each of the player's features as you would in keyboard shortcuts by moving the knob, button or fader/slider to sent a note value to the program.
Then click add, move the button or slider and find the appropriate assignment for it.
Click ok after all assignments have been made and you should be set.

one thing I did with my Nano pad is you may have to disable the touch/release on the X/Y pad because it sends a midi signal also that can get jumbled in with the x or y midi cc.
but I have mine setup as...
X = slider 1 for effect
Y = slider 2 for effect
it's basic but it does exactly what i need
