ok guyz,
i looked in this forum and didnt see any answer to the specific question i have.
i just started using tcvs and just played with the beatlock, so basically i would beatlock the cued song with the current song playing so that they are always in sync,
but after a few seconds, the beatlock would mess up and the cued song would be like a beat before or after the beat of the current song playing, basically it would go out of sync,
why does it do that and how do i prevent it from happening please?
i use vdj pro 5.2.1 ,
thanks guyz, any

Try to use the SYNC AUTO function.

ok.
If you are using Timecode Vinyl, why do you need to use beatlock feature??
Beatlock synchronizes your songs but you will lose the synchronism after a while if you didn't settle your pitch, I think!
So, before playing your next song, set the pitch of the next song and after that try to push the beatlock button.

what i do is i sync the pitch and then to keep them running and not go bac and forth by .3 bpm, i wanted to beatlock it.

which timecode mode are you using (smart, relative, absolute)?

smart

Probably your problem depends on BEATLOCK + Timecode Vinyls. I think you shouldn't use beatlock feature if you are using Timecode since beatlock function is useful if you are using both external controllers and not controller at all.
Remember that you shouldn't desynchronize the timecode signal relative to the song which is playing and if you push the beatlock button you are forcing to do that.

What I can suggest you it's to change the "beatlock" function with "sync" or "sync_nocbg" and try what more you like.
If you use one of the sync, you shouldn't have this problem because just you push the sync button, the song synchronize itself immediately, while if you are using beatlock, the song needs time for synchronizing and it creates a displacement between the song and the timecode signal.

whats sync nobcg?

The CBG is the rectangle you see under the waveform of the song.
Try yourself assigning these 4 configurations
1) SYNC (AUTO box is unchecked)
2) SYNC (AUTO box is checked)
3) SYNC_NOCBG (AUTO box is unchecked)
4) SYNC_NOCBG (AUTO box is checked)
I don't know if you, who is a LIMITED EDITION user, can map these MIDI controls too.
