I have heard I can apply effects to the mic input.
Is this possible and if so, how do I do this.
do I have to do something in the RMX control panel and then something in VDJ or is it just all in VDJ.

Does anyone have an idea?

You can't add any kind of effect over the Microphone signal because the microphone only depends on OS settings.

I can't remember where I read it, but I know it can be done. I think it has to do with the setup in the RMX control panel. I will have to mess with it on my off day and let everyone know.

First, you need to update VDJ DJC Edition (included with the Rmx) to the latest version (v5.2.1).
Then, connect your microphone to the Rmx, and launch VDJ.
Once inside, for DECK A ONLY, you will be able to assign one of the 4 microphone FX to any of the FX button (simply click on the arrow next to the button).
By pressing the button, the input will switch the microphone ON and apply the FX.

Whole system is updated.
Are these 4 mic FX's in the Effects plugin section?

I would guess they should be there. They are all called "MIC_xxx" (Chorus, Flanger, Reverb, voice pitch).

Let me know if it works because for me this is a news.
