Numark has the X7 that might do what you need
what is your price range?? I don't think there are any good mixes that has DVS features under $500

I don't think you can categorically state then Denon X1600/X1700 will be the 'best' mixers for VDJ somehow. I would still take my Ecler EVO5 or the Xone:4D over one. Both have far better MIDI capabilities than the Denons.

You think incorrectly ;)
On the Ecler EVO5 I can route audio out to channels 1-4, directly to the PFL bus and directly to the mix bus, as well as audio in from those channels + mic. All through ASIO :)
I can also route audio in/out to the same channels at the same time, meaning I can route a timecode signal in from channel 1 to VDJ, and the audio signal back out to channel 1 on the mixer so there's no loss of channels for timecode use.
