I used to be a freakin' power user but for the life of me have forgotten to set up a rig with the aforementioned set-up.
I've got a PC using XPSP2, VDJ 521 and a Hercules MK2 running all the latest updates including the 1.5 rom update.
Id like to have auto cue when loading tracks.
mono sound out from the MK2 to mixer

Any help and hugs would be greatly appreciated.

When I started reading your post I was thinking go to Hercules and download new updates. You said you already did. All i can do is send a hug. Sorry.

Connect your mk2 to mixer by RCA output 1&2 to a spare channel of your mixer.
OR
Inputs-None
Output-External Mixer
Soundcard(s)-MK2 Icon
Connect your mk2 to mixer by RCA output 1&2 to channel 1 (of your mixer) and RCA output 3&4 to channel 2 (of your mixer). Then just use your crossfader of your mixer to fade between channels.

Secondly, I tried both of your options to no avail. I'll try and restart the program each time I try your settings and get back to you.
I remember back in the day I used to have the 1/2 mini out to the clubs mixer and use 3/4 mini out for my headphones.

Oh man. Too funny. My Hercules control panel had both output channels muted. Everything works perfectly and I bow my head as a former pro user who needed help in the first place hehe
