Topic: Beat Sync not functioning accurately after upgrading to FULL version (solved)

Beat Sync is 75% less accurate after buying a $149 upgrade to the version that came w/my Hercules RMX.

The 'lite' version worked perfectly...and i was EXTREMELY pleased, SO i proceeded to upgrade to use the Sample/Record features, and now i am VERY disappointed to find that the "One-Click Beat Sync" as advertised completely sucks on the upgrade!

I sent a support ticket and this the completely apathetic and borderline rude support help (i use this term loosely...this guy was of absolutely NO help)...i need a refund or a fix. Read his 'support' below:

Well thank you for sharing this with the community.

I assure you that if I had the answer, so would you.

I have verified this on my own equipment, and reported it to development.
The only option currently is to bend while mixing as we all do.

Sorry you are not happy with my answer, but you are not the first or the last one to discover this.

As with any software, there are little things that need fixing as they get discovered.
Things get fixed based on priority, naturally things that cause crashes come first.
I am sure if you had crashes you would rather us fix that first also.
 
Okanom, how do you justify marking this answer as "rude" anyway?
 

It is a reported fault with the looping sync on the RMX and the Pro version. You could of searched the forum a bit harder and found alot of users have discovered this.

Maybe a fix will come in the next version/update, who knows.

BTW Rick wasn't being rude, he just offered his advice on this matter.
 
There has been a fix released for this today.
Registered users can contact us in support for the exe.

I agree the CBG is not always perfect, but I find the quality of the MP3 is a big factor, for example if there a millisecond break in the audio it will not work correctly.

When mixing you should always double check the CBG to ensure the beats are lined up! ;)

IMHO The response was 'short' but I don't believe it to be 'rude'.

Also I believe the CBG to be more like 95% accurate on most standard house/electro tracks I use..

thanks for the fix. the short response initially was not at all helpful, and was more like a 'deal with it' type of response, i don't mind thinking for myself and not agreeing with all the sheep.

once again...i appreciate the 'fix'.

Can i suggest making a sticky for the masses of people with this problem, Because i would have never of finding out about the fix only for i was bored at work and reading all posts.

You must be a registered pro user to access the install file.
Just add your serial for the pro version in your profile.
