Topic: MacBook Pro running XP / Pc Version errors

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Is there a previous post for debugging the PC version on a Macbook Pro? I installed and received an audio driver error. And when I drag a .VOB file on either (on screen) turntable, I get an "error in the video driver".

I have bare bones XP setup.

After the software install, do I need other drivers? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Help?!?

Hello powermixx,

1) Have you installed a DVD Video playback software?
By default, Windows XP includes no codec for DVD playback, so you must install a codec to play your DV Video file.

2) Have you installed the Windows XP drivers of your graphic card?
I don't know which graphic card you have in your MacBook Pro, but you can check the graphic chipset installed of your MacBook to install up to date graphic drivers.
