Topic: Using a Hercules RMX with version 3.4 - Can this be done? [NO]

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Just like the title says; I'm trying to use my shiny new RMX controller on an older version of the software.

I've had enough with version 5 and really want to go back to the older version, which ran alot more stably, had much better reaction times and didn't rape my computer.

I've been running the old MK2 console on this machine with perfect results under 3.4.1. I have since 'upgraded' to the RMX with it's 5.2.1 software and just get a feeling that I'll get a much more fluid user experience using the console on the older software. Both versions of the software are installed, under different directories and run independently with their respective controllers.

SO... does anyone know how? I've tried the obvious of running v3 with the RMX in, but that just brings up a 'no controller plugged in' message.

Cheers in advance!

No the DJC Console version 3.4 is not compatible with the RMX.

Thanks for the speedy reply, but that's one hell of a shame.
