Topic: Can I disable sound acceleration in DXDIAG w/o a problem?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I run a karaoke program alongside VDJ5.2 . The karaoke program requires that I turn off the sound acceleration in DX Diag to run it properly. Will this affect anything in VDJ or any of its (vdj's) effects from running properly?
