Hello together,
ich have a little problem.
The the vdj embedded coding for the vci-100 is pretty good, but i want to make it for me a little bit more individual.
So i take the mapper from the download area and adjust it for me.
But now i've got a little problem, i couldn't find the answer.
How must i set up to see a button, green/activ or orange/passive and see the for example the sync button flash with the beat?

The General MIDI features of VirtualDJ is for receiving information from a device. VirtualDJ does not 'send' MIDI signals so you can not make lights turn on or off (or blink).

But why it works, if i use the vci100 mapper inside VDJ (Config -> controllers -> vci100)?
There must be a trick, because with my self setup under General MIDI there is no change - i see - to switch on button lights!
Can you explain me the difference?
Is there any change to see the VDJ-inside xml document?
I only want to make it a little personel, the most settings are right!

You are crossing 2 things - native support and MIDI support.
Native support (Remote Control tab -> VCI-100 icon) - with the native support where a custom coded mapper is written using programming code ( C++ ) you are able to receive information from a controller and send information to the controller using code.
MIDI support (Remote Control tab -> General MIDI icon) - VirtualDJ's MIDI environment is a MIDI input only capability where VirtualDJ can receive information (Notes or Control Codes) from the controller but not send information to the controller.

I want to have the full options. :-)
If i find somebody or learn it by myself to make a own Remote Control tab, is it possible to put in my VDJ programm?
I don't have a problem to share it with the community!
And what are the premises.

LED support is only available to a proper plugin, it presently cannot be done via the MIDI window. For this you'll need programming skills, most code them in C++. You can't really customise the native support without doing this.
I was going to write a full blown VCI-100 mapper, but I haven't had access to a unit unfortunately.
It is possible to do it remotely and have someone test it over and over, but obviously this would take time.
