I want to explain what I 'd like to do and maybe if there's a way, you can tell me how to accompliish it?
Deck "A" would play through My primary EMU 1616m sound card.
Deck "B" would play through my Hercules Mk2 sound card.
MicroExpress LapTop 2.6 Duo, 4 Gg Mem, XPpro OS.
The reason I need this feature is to be able to drag a song to deck "B", listen to it first before I send it to deck "A"
Secound reason is that singers come up many times and ask me if they can hear the track before they sing it and I'm not able to do that right now. (Karaoke or song tracks)
Would appreciate some input on this.
Thanks
Joey...

You dont need to use 2 cards. You can accomplish this with the mk2. Do you have an external mixer??? If so you just need to change your soundcard settings.
If you have an external mixer:
1st go into the mk2's sound settins and click in the External Mixer mode.
Then go into VDJs sound settings and change to:
Input: None
Output: External Mixer:
S. Card: MK2
then it will be 1/2 left deck and 3/4 right deck
Then go into VDJ settings and set crossfader as Disabled you will control the crossfading on your mixer and will not use the one in vdj.

Hello! I'm trying to hook VDJ up to my 1616m and can't figure out how. Paz, do you remember how you did it? I wasnt even sure it was possible but your post gave me hope.
