I was checking and downloading all the skins available.
I don't think any of them works for me 100%.
What skin do you use? and why?
I want my skin to be professional, made for external controller/mixer, SIMPLE, CLEAN, and have the most important features (display cue position on meters and on the waveform, NO crossfaders, EQs, etc.)
Another great feature i saw on a skin was 2 waveforms, one for each deck. That was great.
I think i'll start my own skin soon.

I don't use only a skin.
As my PC is in my living room I prefer to change sometimes.
I often use: "Floop DJ" 1024*768 and "CDJ700".
I don't have any external controler (except a mixtable) so I prefer to have the turntables in the skin.
I don't really like separate waveforms.
That's my opinion.

Same here, there is currently no skin that i like 100%, so i had to learn how to create mine.
Its in "beta" test now... in real work not at home, has a clean interface and other things you ask for
Except the eq (wich will not hurt you the way it is) maybe its what you need.

I Think is a good idea the possibility to have A skin with buttons to swicht on or off pannels like
cue, effets, wave display ect...to obtain a modular skin...an user can make the right
configuration for the moment..

Actually with the used system of skins you can switch off items you don't want but you will always a background. Skins developers can do that but i think they and i prefer waiting for new system of skin where we have "no background" (i mean close a sub-skin ans see the desktop of windows)

Hey apopsis, euharisto, i'll check it out when it's done.
I have started my own skin, and will build it exactly as i want.
It will be clean, optimized for external use (controller+mixer) so it will have no buttons, no sliders, no crossfader, and nothing that can be controller externaly (what's the point? :)
It WILL have samples, FX etc. which cannot be controlled externaly.
I'm trying to give a professional and futuristic look which is a chalenge... :)
And ofcrouse will share it with the VDJ community! :)
