As of now, some version 8 skins are available for download in the usual page. More will come very soon and authors will update the existing ones hopefully, even though most of them should work fine even as they are now.
For the new skins, please post your comments, bugs and requests to the Skins forum (you will see the relative topics soon).

will there be an option in the future or a plugin to download in order to revert the waveforms to look like they did in 7.4? like as in how small and slow they move, and how skinny they become when you zoom in.

There are several different options for the wavefrom at the top
You can also use your mouse to zoom in and out on most waveforms.

Is it possible to Update the skin sektion in download with an option VDJ Version (like a list to select VDJ6/VDJ7/VDJ8 only)

Not possible at the moment.
But it is possible for a skin developer to implement this.

It cannot be done. At least not in the default skin. You also cannot switch it to full screen as in V7.
Apparently there will (or may) be some skins at some point in the future which have the option.

the question i asked was because i whant to use 2 Screens one external wich i could turn (for libaray) and my little 13" MB only for Player and loops etc.
maby we find one how is able to do that

Still there is no way to revert the waveforms, so it will goes from left to rigth the way its supossed by me to be correct.

What happened with the clipmask, mousemask etc?
It's not working in my own skin. I changed the xml into version 8 and did some changes so far.
For the rest it's super.
ps: It seems that the autogain isn't working when a song is not scanned.

Clipmask and mousemask are no longer required.
Using PNG graphics with an Alpha (transparent) background you can draw your image as you want it to appear.
Code useing <on> and <off> and VDJ will do the rest.
More information on skins will come shortly after the Full software launch.

It does work if you allow the song to completely load. If you press PLAY before that, then it will not change the GAIN once fully loaded to avoid sudden changes on sound. This is an intentional behavior as some users were complaining that the sound was changing while playing a track.

Please, please, please could it be possible to hide deck 3&4 on the default skin but still leave deck 1 & 2 collapsed like on the 4 deck skin so it gives a lot more room for the browser area. This would be much better for controller users who dont need to see huge decks and dont use 4 decks
