Take a look at the Auto Sync Controls in the User Manual. It sounds like you have at least one of them enabled and you want to disable it (especially Auto Match BPM and Auto Sync on Play).

Thanks for the suggestions. I checked and none of those are enabled… I think I’m just going to throw in the towel lol

also possible you have a script, but not likely as you'd know you have set it.

If all else fails, backup your settings.xml restart VirtualDJ to see if the problem persists.

Backup your settings.xml, DELETE (or rename) the original, then restart VirtualDJ :-)
