Nothing is changed on how the above scripts work, so definitely not a regression bug. Please do not continue this here. Open a new topic in the Version 8 Report bug thread (not this one) and we will try to see why this is not working for you. Btw, a similar script is not part of the default mapping of the 4500.

Not sure if it will help, but try changing your "deck left select" / "deck right select" to "leftdeck select" / "rightdeck select"

just wondering, in what aspect might you feel that the current sampler is inferior to the clipbank? the current sampler can do so much more!!

I get an abrupt shutdown when i broadcast using shoutcast and the broadcast time has ended.
eg. my broadcast time ends at 2pm est. as soon as it gets to 2pm vdj8 shuts down.

After customizing my settings in VDJ8 to work with my Numark 4Trak controller I shut down VDJ8, now it refuses to work with my controller. If my 4TRAK is on, it crashes upon opening, if my 4TRAK is off, it will open but once I turn it on, VDJ8 crashes.
Any fixes for this; I have a gig in a week.

I just noticed a clicking/static noise on the sampler.
When the loops starts over and jump to start it comes a noise that sound really loud like a static noise or clicking sound.
I have Never heard this in previous versions !

Ditto. It seems to appear and disappear randomly, and vary in actual sound.
Sometimes it's just a small glitch. Sometimes it's prominent.
