I have an older machine so I'm using vga through an eight way splitter box, newer machines come with hdmi, but you may have to convert down to vga.
Anything less than vga and your output videos will probably look a bit grainy, in older installs in venues for some reason the installers and some still do use the old coaxial lead to feed the screens, if you can find a converter down to this type, you can save a lot of work by just having one input into the tv output amplifier which will then feed all the venues screens.
Doing it that way you will need then to select a channel not in use and re-tune it so you get your output showing.
