Howdy it sounds like you have a firmware issue with your mk2 have a look at spinnas blog it has a great procedure to solve this.

hi, it is a firmware issue. but this is the second time this has happened!!
i reset the firmware and re-installed the drivers for the MK2, reinstalled VDJ and now it is working. However after closing and restarting VDJ the same issue with tracks not playing started again, i had to disable the controller and the enable it for things to start working again.
Thing is this is what happened last time, it seems that after time VDJ just seems to start crashing and the only way to fix it is by re-installing every aspect of VDJ and herc. MK2 again.
