What about this:


When you load a track on one deck, the instrumental and the acapella version of that track will be loaded on the same deck (if you have it). Beatmatched and everything... and a slider or button to switch between theese..

Just an idea, could be useful for live mash-ups. For other things too of course..

Maybe heavy for the computer, but should be possible...
 
vdj is great but the sampler really sucks. It should be on an independant deck and should use a third channel of your sound card or a separate soundcard so the volume is not shared betwwen the man channels

If your soundcard has enough output channels, you can do that already...

Does this already with cards like the VVbox in 3 line mode.

It's not a specific sound card i am talking about, it has to work in general.

Please explain how to use a sampler on a different channel or different card ?

Native Support of the CDJ-400 would be nice.....
 
fix the network sync to truly sync with the other pc not just adjust the pbm value
 
Change the standart skin:

The software should remember if you clicked on the bpm tab (so it changes to display the actual pitch) and the remaining time to elapsed and the other around.
It's getting annoyed clicking again everytime you start the software.
 
why not just....in the config area...give the option to either have the two deck automix feature or not...and the bpm engine fixed..faster counting accurately ect...also the" preview "you know.... when you right click on a song to preveiw it get that working....larger records in the skin so its easier to scratch without real turntables....maybe even keyboard button pushes to scratch and switch back and forth ...for a more realistic mix...

You can change this yourself by modifying the XML for the skin... please see the skin forum for information...
 
UNDO!!!

This feature is standard for every program ever made since the 1980's.

I don't mean "UNDO" the song I played that just cleared the dance floor, or the wrong first dance song at a wedding (if you can do that it would be great though).

I mean "UNDO" in the browser section. Like oops, just clea the whole playlist in stead of only the played songs. Or oops, just deleted my favorite virtual folder. Click undo and the world is a happy place again.

My wishes :

* Better management of CPU over charge problem : it's better to stop all things except the audio but, please,
not degrade audio quality as it's the case today (it's the case since the new engine)

* 2 decks automix back (for that, function "auto_mix_next" should take into account the "automix options")

* Correct the DMX recognition of USB "DMX Sunlite out only" box (it doesn't work in 5.0x)

I also would like to change the eq-parameters.
I personally love the XONE92 EQ, is it possible to get a plugin to emulate that type of eq?
Or the eq of other mixers like the DJM800?
Would be great!
 
how bout editing bpm on to fly, w/o bringin up any screens or menus?
 
Bring back 2 deck auto mixing. At least give us the option to change it in the config pages.

Do this and I will buy a full blown version instead of using the trial ver 4.3.

Somewhere on here I remember reading that there was stability problems associated with the 2 deck automix. Personaly I don't use automix at all anymore, differant songs need differant transition mixes so I use Sonar & Vegas to pre make mixes in case they're needed.

Awhile back somebody had suggested being able to drag clips from the sample section onto one of the decks so users can use it to scratch with. If possible that would be hella cool;^]
 
This is waht i think about the new version.

It should put back the godies that make the VIRTUAL DJ back on advance funtions and not too many nobies funtions.
Nothing more than futures that make me put away PCDJ and get VIRTUAL DJ (home edition still) back again (and soem new ones that have never beem improbe and alwasy beem asking for.

My wishlist;

- Full compatibility with Turbocache video cards (no more video lags or freezings)
- Integrated window for VDJRadio Chat (usefull when using a fullscreen skin)
