A more organized library. Automatically sorts your music by genre. Works a lot better with iTunes.

 


This is what Cstoll wrote on the forum awhile ago, when i asked as to how i could pre listen to to the Sampler

"This can be done now, use the Headphones mode in the Output drop down - mono split, 2 sound card option, or 4.1 soundcard option"

I cant get this to work. DO I require two soundcards for this. Also unlike on Deckadance there isnt a headphone icon on the sampler so we can assign tracks to be cued through the headphones ??

I hope someone will be able to help me with this,

The ability to store not only cuepoints but also loops. BPM Studio had the ability to save a loop just like a cue point. The hot cuepoint buttons on the hardware controller would be red for cuepoints and orange for loops. You could have several cuepoints and loops stored for every song. I miss that feature in VDJ.

Another great feature would be to have easily accesible sample banks. A simple drop down menue would be fine. It would be so helpful to select between banks like "corporate awards" and "house samples" and "wedding drops" rather than to have to assign them individually every time. Also, a play sample button in the open sample window would be awesome.
 
And definately a 12 hour clock!

Who uses a 24 hour clock at an event? Really...

put this in the wish list section but thought i might as well stick it in here to

I would like to see where the jingle/sample section is reduced and made capable of holding two or three banks of those effects instead of the wasted space of those sliders and just have one master slider for them all situated on one of the sides... thanks

Why not make the F keys directly assignable as individual CLIPBANKS? I have tried and tried, and simply cannot create a direct keyboard shortcut to any of my 12 themed banks of clips. I think this would be a much more powerful use of the F keys than what is currently there - a bunch of individual sound effects.
 
Hopefully they solve the video freezing issue !!!

Wont stop stressing this enough. But a Third Deck is a must, or at least bring back the ability to apply EQ and FX to when recording on the fly to the sampler. This was possible in
VDJ 2 and 3 but has been taken away since then.

point.Also take a leaf out of 'Deckadance' which allows users to preview samples and filter them. Pretty awsome in my opinion.
I know all this can be done using an external mixer but that besides the point.

not sure if this has been mentioned, but a ticker type message effect so that multiple messages can be scrolled along the screen

You can use multiinstance for 4 decks all synced. Check it out in the manual neat little feature.

there is one already go to plugins > video effects > text2d, does what it says on the can, when installed just remember to activate before attempting to use it

you can have up to ten multiple messages scrolling at the same time if you want to

All I want is Napster WORKING AGAIN PLEASE!! Love that Plugin and was the Most importing thing VDJ HAD!! but now it's Gone 8( but maybe 5.1)
