If you are ok with a delay / not hearing your own voice on the master, your original use with a USB mic should be fine.
Otherwise you'll indeed need a separate audio interface as Klaus mentioned

I've got a xenyx mixer but that's not what I was expecting to use, I brought the mic to use it in my pioneer

Yes, and it should do just that. The mic signal will be sent to the master output. That's the way many controllers work.

Your initial problem was a delay. Using an analogue mic rather than USB should have solved that issue.

If you're broadcasting direct from VDJ, you could add the mic in via the Xenyx (which gives you EQ etc too) or use the Xenyx as a "group mixer" to combine the DDJ-400 and the mic, then broadcast from that signal.

Another option is to use OBS and take the feed from output of the DDJ-400.

There's more than one way to skin a cat. :-)

Unfortunately I'm having to use the xenyx now I'm getting major echo don't know what do

So many issues here....

First of all clearly that's not a Xenyx mixer. Second it looks like you've got the mic plugged into the line input.

At this stage I'd suggest the best solution is to feed the output of the DDJ-400 into the computer as a record input and broadcast from that.

How do you think the mixer is showing in virtual DJ dumb as it's connected to the laptop via a usb hub geez you guys are no help

That Depusheng thing doesn't have a USB output.

When I say the DDJ-400 output, I mean from the RCA master outputs on the back, not USB.

By the way, you don't need to quote every post in its entirity when you reply.

In the audio setup my pioneer DDJ400 is showing up in the audio part where you set the mic ect the other end of the usb that's plugged into pioneer ddj 400 is plugged into a usb hub
