Hello there! Can anyone here tell me how can i know that a specific GPU card supports accelerated math so i can analyze songs with minimal decent speed to use the stem eqs?
Anybody got a list of the GPU's or something like that that are compatible with the new math feature? cuz i got a RADEON RX 570 here and it isn't compatible lol

For Windows, nVidia GeForce 7xx and above is "ok" , but it's recommended to go for 9xx and above

The Math-Engine is not supported on my Computers.

I have on my Notebook Win1064 2004 Core i7 16GB Ram with MX150 4GB Driver-Version 446.14 Type DCH.
On Desktop Win10 64 2004 Insider-build AMD Ryzen 3600 16GB Ram with GTX 1660 6GB Driver 451.22 Type DCH
CUDA-Driver 26.21.14.4614 and 27.21.14.5122. PhysX 09.19.0218 on both Computers.
VDJ2021 says Math-Engine not supported.

Whats the trick to activate Math-Engine on my Nvidia GPU?

It only seems to work on a select few cards that *most* laptops a DJ would use don't have.

Will have to use CPU method instead it seems.

@DJDad

Found out why the math engine did not work with my Nvidia cards.
The required DLL cud101 and cuf101 in the Plugins64 folder was not fully downloaded.

Now it runs like clockwork. Good Job

Because this can happen to other users, can you please add it in the Changelog or elsewhere in the Forum.
Thanks

What do you mean "math-engine not supported". it should work on both your computers without problems

I have a Radeon 580 and am sad to be unable to use it for these computations. How would I know what is compatible when I upgrade in the future?

That is an AMD graphics card and not Nvidia

Hey! I am trying real hard to play around with the new advanced math features, however, after no matter how many reinstalls and latest versions, I still have issues.
If I try the GPU (1060, I read it had other issues initially), at every restart of the program, it downloads the cuf101 and cud101 dlls, but after the download finishes, deletes both instantly with the message that my GPU does not support accelerated math.
GPU drivers, Windows, VirtualDJ all at latest version. Is there anything else I can try?

I wonder then if your card really does have a GTX 1060...

It's not unknown for cheap cards purchased from questionable sources to be advertised, boxed and labelled as something which they're not.

Did you buy the card or was it already in the PC?

Sure you have the latest drivers? they are only a couple of days since last drivers were released

Hi dear friends. I have an Asus N550JV Laptop with a NVIDIA GeForce GT750M Video Card. I have the same problem as user 13024111.

At every restart of the program, it downloads automatically the cuf101 and cud101 dlls, but after the download finishes, deletes both instantly. And on and on.

I already have downloaded and installed the most recently drivers for my card.

Have someone any suggestion for helping solve my problem?

Thank you in advance.

Did you download the drivers directly from nvidia's website?

Posted Thu 13 Aug 20 @ 8:36 am
Hi. Yes. I downloaded the driver directly from the NVIDIA web page. The most recent version for my card is the 425.31. I had to downgrade to the 417.71. It doesn’t download the cuf and cud but the VirtualDJ says that the drivers are outdated and that the Card does not support Math Processing and sets the mathEngine option direct to CPU.

Then the CPU is overloaded of work and the temperature rises from 60 to 75 celsius. The chasis feels hot and the fans work at max rpm.

I don’t undersantd how VirtualDJ hasn’t still dealed with this problem. It appeared from the first 2021 Build.

If someone has some suggestion, I’ll be gratefull. AP

Are MX150 and above GPUs supported? I think those would be perfect for VDJ because they are modern and have decent performance while not requiring massive cooling or bulky form factors.

Hello Dear Colleagues. Does anyone know a list of NVidia and AMD GPUs for Laptops compatible with math engine for Stems processing? Thanks in advance.
