All March And April gigs lost here in Spain, let's see what happen next. We are confined at home just now, a terrible situation for our sector.

Our Easter warehouse gig has been cancelled, depends on how it goes we might do an outdoor late spring but we don't want to be a nuisance with the police, if guidance is still no gathering, then what can you do?

All clubs and events closed here... not allowed to organize anything with more than 5 people (including birthdays, dinner visits etc etc)
So yeah, tons of lost gigs for everyone ;-)

Mainland Europe is a little ahead of the virus spread, but guess same quarantine situations will come to the US soon too

My senior center gigs were cut last week, until further notice. I was surprised it took them so long. Worked last night, but the club closed at 8 tonight, until further notice. To be honest, I would have closed all strip clubs last month, if I was the Governor. So I'm on vacation for a while. I was actually thinking about going to Dubai, but may not be able to get back. Airfare has dropped.

Just got the call just a few minutes ago (15.33pm uk time) All door staff and Dj's will no longer be needed as of the 19th March till further notice. All parties cancelled and 2 wedding receptions also cancelled. These gigs were all london based and As Being a Dj has been my only paying job the past 20+ years - That's me done. In my hometown of Croydon, the nightlife has been a struggle for the past 5 years, then after New Years Eve 2019 4 clubs closed there doors for good, Leaving about 4(maybe 5) night venues left, so now this will kill it all off for good. R.I.P Croydon Nightlife

North East UK here.

Just contacted my Hotel residency 30 minutes ago to find that tomorrow's wedding is canceled.

I did have 20 weddings from tomorrow till the end of April, apparently, there are lots been canceled. They are gonna send me an email over the weekend with all the updates, cancelations, postponements, etc.

I never in my wildest dreams thought that being a pensioner with a state pension income and still a DJ would be an advantage, rock on! :-)

I'm just glad I actually managed to buy toilet paper this week!

It's been a nightmare, as the start of the panic buying just so happened to coincide with my loo roll supply getting dangerously low.

Nothing in the aisles for two weeks, but finally tonight I was lucky enough to be in Tesco when they wheeled out some fresh stock. [fistpump]

Now I can poop without worry. :-)

Ha ha ha, I'm lucky as I live on my own. I usually have 2x9 packs, when I get near to one pack I go out and buy another. The first pack I have probably had for over a year.

Due to the UK Government's new announcement yesterday, I had a call from my Hotel residency this morning, all gigs cancelled till late June.

Personally I think even that's optimistic.

I'm gonna take the opportunity to upgrade my Mac from macOS Mojave to Catalina, plenty of time to test. :-)

June seems tight, but if measures are serious enough now not impossible, especially for private parties I guess.
Looking at China, measures taken january 23, and now 2 months later already several weeks without new cases in many provinces. (and some bars starting to slowly open again)

ive always had a regular job, so the dj events that got cancelled didnt affect me one bit :-) yes it sucks to lose that extra money but life goes on

I have a regular job (IT). Because of earthquakes on Puerto Rico I lost one month of my Dj residency @ El Schamar, tourist area next to the beach at Boquerón Puerto Rico. Now because of Covid-19 I will miss another month. But that is nothing, we got to do what we got to do. Yes the extra cash is good, but been healthy is even better. Good thing I work on IT, so for know I'm working remote.
Since December 2019, things are been kind of crazy down here @ PR; earthquakes, flooding because of heavy rains and now Covid-19, not to mention water and electricity problem that we are still facing because hurricane María.

But we still going strong.
