when i click on the transition button or click on a screen to change it just switches screens with no transition and if i try to change the effect it won't let me

Is that with the default skin ?
Are you using a controller ? If so, the Video transition depends on the position of the video crossfader and the audio crossfader if the AUTO/LINK settings are enabled.

It's without a controller and the crossfader not linked its if i try to change the transition type there is nothing to change it to

sorted it ,i have removed some files and deleted some folders that vdj did,nt have on another computer
