Topic: DDJ SX Slicer help.

So the DDJ SX Slicer feature was working great with VDJ initially and now all of a sudden when I click onto slicer the lights are going crazy and whenever I hit a pad it's as if the loop is at 1/16th of a beat.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Managed to resolve the issue, the Slicer effect within VDJ has to be selected and then you can change the values of the effect in order to change the loop size, god only knows why it was working perfectly to start with and then jump to 1/32bit.
 
I think the length can also be changed with the PARAMETER buttons next to the pads on the ddj-sx. Maybe you changed the length that way?
 
The Parameters of the Slicer (length/step) can be also changed if you have selected Slicer as Effect in some FX Slot. Your controller then could send the position of the hardware knob and update the values of the effect. This can happen if you slightly move the FX Parameter knobs or you have Slicer selected when the controller initializes (sends the positions of the faders)
