Topic: b3311 Slideshow problem

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

So I just updated to b3311 on my 2012 mbpr running El Capitan and now my slideshow doesn't show anything. I've tried messing with the path but still no luck, I'll mess with it tonight when I get home after my show but I'm wondering if anyone has had the same issue. Thanks!

Yes I had the same issue. I did get it to work however, its a pain, and if your turning it on and off constantly not very helpful.

Make sure your Slideshow is turned OFF. Turn on your Camera in VDJ Video.
Turn Camera off, turn on slideshow and it should work.

I just downgraded to b3291 where the slideshow works as it should. -

The Slideshow issue is already fixed, but you ll have to get the latest build, which is currently in Early Access.
Open VirtualDJ, goto Settings ->OPTIONS tab and set the EarlyAccessUpdates setting to yes.
Re-start VirtualDJ and let it automatically update.

I had exactly the same problem with the same builds. I downgraded to 3291 and everything works fine. I am not planing to upgrade to any other build for now. If it works fine don't touch it. Just wondering what is fixed in the new builds. There is no list of what has been fixed.

When you run VDJ, if there's an update then a popup will appear and ask if you wish to download/install the new version. It also lists all changes.

The same info can be found via the VDJ wiki...
