I would recommend turning the auto gain function on in options menu. Once you turn that on I would set the "zeroDB" option to -3db. I use these settings and have no issue with my tracks!

Ok, I did that. Does that mean I need to rescan?
I did that and did a rescan. Please see the attached. Guess it was a year + since I redid my database scanning.
A rescan appears to show a discrepancy. :(

Yes, you might have to rescan your tracks in order to apply the new settings to them... Are you running VDJ 8?

Actually, the zeroDB value is a modifier for the gain value set bei the option "autoGain".
So you have to set autoGain to "auto".

And rescanning is not needed when changing either option, just reloading the tracks in the decks is enough.
