I find the volumes levels in the headphones to be a little extreme. At about 40% the volume is WAY too loud, So, I tried mapping the slider with param_multiply 50%. I can see the changes visually on screen when I adjust the volume on the controller, but the actual headphone volume remains unaffected.
is there a way to make the headphone volume decrease?

Hmm and how is this related to the Skins Forum ?
anyways, for the NS7II, no vdj script action will change the Headphone output/behavior, since the Headphone channel is a hardware one.
If you take a look at the mapping file of the NS7II, you will notice that it has fake_hp in the ONINIT. This means that you can map the Headphones knobs with vdj script actions and have the movements on the screen/skin but those are fake actions and will not affect the "real" output.

@JameySewell, buy less efficient headphones! Or ones with a higher impedance.

@jameysewell did you ever figure out the headphone volume issue with the ns7II? I just received this unit the other day and everything seems to work fine. The headphone volume is crazy loud. Any help?
