Topic: VDJ 8 on Mac with 2 CDJ2000 nexus - play startup speed

When i hit the play button on de CDJ >> the song starts playing with very slow start up speed and speeds up after 5 seconds to normal play speed.
What to do or change in the configure module ?

Have a look in advanced options search "rampStartTime" it could be that set that to a small number (0 - 0.2)
Or it could be HW and then I have no idea

The CDJ2000 have dedicated knobs to adjust the start-up and brake speed (VINYL SPEED ADJUST). Those should be set to minimum 0 if you need to have instant play/stop.

If at any case you use those knobs for something else, switch to the default "factory" mapping, set those to minimum position and then switch back to your custom one.

No result.

Start & stop ramptime 0 >> still slow speed startup song

Problem caused by CDJ2000nexus. Maya USB soundcard connected without USB CDJ2000

The start/stop ramp knobs on the cdj are turned all the way to the left?

start/stop ramp knobs adjusted to full left >> OK!!!!!

Strange, position of the start/stop ramp knobs doesn't matter on the CDJ2000.

I still have my doubts about VDJ8 in combination with Mac. During the test, second CDJ2000nx lost sound. Had to restart VDJ8.
So, still using VDJ 7.4 (no problems at all)

DJ set in Swingcafé 't Oude Hof : 2xCDJ2000 + 2xCDJ2000nx + DJM2000 + IMac (i7)
