Topic: Sound bad (allof the sudden in vdj 8)

seemingly from one show where everything sounded great to the next where it sounds like a scratched up record. I thought it was just a power issue last night, but tonight at a different location its the same scratchy sound. No changes were made. VDJ 7 doesn't have this noise with the same setup. HP17 envy thru a denon mc6000mk2. any suggestions?

btw: all drivers/firmware are up to date. using latest build of vdj8. all effects off. filter knob off. latency is set at 1024

Try to do this test:
Go on "Documents\VirtualDj" and rename the "Settings.XML" file to "Settings_OLD.XML"
Start VirtualDj and check again if the problem cured itself or not...
If it did, please send us the "Settings_OLD.XML" file...

If you record the Master Output, does this "scratchy" sound goes through the recorded file ?
